 Does anyone here know anything or have any experience with the Flower of Life and Drunvalo`s other teachings ? I have recently come in closer contact with this and would like some input before I start checking it out in closer detail.

I don't know how you, all my dear (mostly) pagan friends, think about this, but I do like the evening of the 24th, or Heiligabend, as it is known in Germany, a whole lot. Me and my circle sisters had a discussion about it the other night- celebrating Yule on the day/night of the solstice, or on the 24th. While I like doing ritual on the actual date, my case for Heiligabend is this: There is no other night in the entire year that is as quiet. When you go for a walk at night, there is hardly a sound, even in the city, very few cars, less people. It's like the world is holding its breath. And it is the birthnight of Sol Invictus as well (ok, that's because the25th used to be Solstice Day, but nevermind).
Another thought that follows logically: On what night do the Rauhnächte start? Because if you start before the 25th, you end before january 6th, which is sacred to the Goddess Percht .  I'm interested in hearing your thoughts.
And have a good Holy Night

Hello friends,

I posted this yesterday on one of my magical/political lists. So far, it appears to be working. The transport still hasn't reached its destination. I am asking you to add to the strength of this spell.

Check out www.castor.de for the latest news, and wendland-net.de/pxv.php for pictures.

Last night, as I sat among hundreds of other protesters oustside the gate to the nuclear waste depot in Gorleben, blockading said gate, from the nuclear waste transport that's on it's way, I looked up at Her beautiful face waxing in the night sky, sailing above the pine trees, and at the mist that was wraithed around the trees, and us (making everything slightly damp and chilly in the process), I made a prayer the moon, and to the powers of this land:

Oh beautiful Godess of the silvery Moon,
Let our numbers wax like your face
Let us be as beautiful,
And as awe- inspiring
And as powerful as you

And mysterious mists of these woods,
May you get into the police's eyes
May you blind them to our steps
May they not see the hand in front of their face
And certainly nothing sneaking between the trees

may they be wraithed in mist
until Tuesday.

Tonight, as the those in command have decided to keep the train moving towards its final destination even though it's dark, and the forests full of protesters wanting to sit on the tracks(They are running 13 hours behind schedule due to some brave souls that chained themselves to a big concrete block)
will you please help us out and put some of your energy into this spell?

blessings, and thanks,

Shira

Pirat, aka Tati, aka Frau Tatenprat, aka the cat, died a week and a half ago, on August 28th. I couldn't write this earlier cos I wasn't home. One minute, all was well (and exactly as it always is/was in the mornings- she had just taken to her usual perch on The Third Chair)- and I had just made her sit on the floor instead, because we had a visitor--  and then, she was wheezing, choking, fell over, panicked, passed out, died. Just like that. And she wasn't old, she was fitter than ever... and there was nothing I could do to help. I tried, and it was no good. And that kind of thing  is my job, for fuck's sake.
And now... it's not some big missing, it's the little things, all the routines that suddenly don't make sense anymore. When I look out the window, I know she won't be coming along to look at the pigeons. She won't poke me in the nose anymore when she is bored and wants me to get up. The furry hairballs currently on the rug will be the last lot. How I cursed those damn hairballs! Now I just wish she would come back to shed some more...  There are time, when all beliefs and all the fine words about death and rebirth and returning to the goddess are just that: Words. I know it passes, but not for the time being.
If it's ok for you, please include her in your prayers. Maybe she is currently shedding on Freya's sofa... I hope.

On saturday, a friend invited me to the local Israeli restaurant- which will close this week because the proprietors are moving to Berlin. As it was Passover week, we didn't get the normal menue- they had put on a 5 course Passover menue with all the appropriate rituals and ritual foods being enthusiastically explained to us poor goyim (or is that schiksen?). We also had to sing. Whenever the band wasn't playing and our mouths weren't full. Marvellous. Then off to a club that is situated in the staircase of an old theatre. We sat on the cushioned stairs and watched the crowd.
On sunday- that is yesterday- I went first to a yoga class at my gym, which I enjoyed tremendously. Then, in a rare fit of sunday activity, I decided to go to a beautiful tango argentino school that offers dancing on sundays- including a beginners' lesson. As there were only 3 clueless people, and the other 2 a couple, I got to dance with the instructor almost the whole time. Plus: it was really great. Apparently, it only works if you don't think about it. It's true. Whenever I just tried to guess what would happen next, everything went great. Whenever I had the slightest thought- wham- tangled legs, wrong foot, you name it. Beat that for meditation practice...
what I was trying to say: I had the greatest weekend. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

<div id="testResultInfo">
      <h1><!--t-->Dein Ergebnis:<!--/t-->: <span>The Biosphere</span></h1>
      <h2>You scored 20 Mana, 16 Fervor, 10 Moisture, and 18 Temperature!</h2>
       <div id="testResultInfoImg"><img src="http://panther.is2.okcimg.com/users/164/682/16568394923202412421/mt1024677715.jpg"></div>
      <p>
      Mana: Above Average.<br>
Fervor: Above Average.<br>
Moisture: Dry.<br>
Temperature: Hot.<br>
Derived Element: Fire.<br>
<br>
<br>
You are the "Biosphere," an embodiment of Fire where all heat comes from living beings consuming and releasing their own wave, combining into an ebullient, burnishing conflagration.<br>
<br>
<b>Legend:</b> <br>
<i>Mana</i> refers to your capacity for spiritual manifestations, like magic. <br>
<br>
<i>Fervor</i> refers to your spiritual training or intuition (or lack there of) on a holistic basis.<br>
<br>
<i>Derived Element</i> refers to the arcane tangible representation of your will. To derive this, I combined the attributes of the "moisture" and "temperature" of your persuasion in the classical element schema.<br>
<br>
<b>Statistical information:</b> As people age, they further sharpen their insight/fervor. They also tend to get "cooler," and "wetter," showing that many of the older users tend to obtain water (cool/wet) and earth (cool/dry) results.<br>
<br>
<i>Relationship information:</i> In this case, like absolutely attracts like. Similar elements between users definitely lend themselves to auspicious correlations, but what brings them even closer is their similar mana capacity and insight. <b>Some similar results on a basis of element to yours are: </b><i>The Candlelight, The Brazier, The Desert Heat, The Naked Flame, The Active Volcano, and The Biosphere.</i><br>
<br>
<b>Disclaimer:</b> All categories are made equal. For one example, having high mana does indeed impart great things, but low mana users are least likely to short circuit their spiritual power. Also, no element is any better than the other beyond your own perspective.<br>
<br>
<i>In closing, I only interpret the scores as I see it. It is much more important that you draw your own conclusions from your test scores and analyze how it relates to you in your daily life. I hope you enjoyed taking this test and wish you the best life for the future.</i>

I´ve been assuming that as we grow older, we grow wiser (or smarter, or maybe just more experienced). Clearly, that is not so. It´s only hard work that makes us wiser. or maybe it´s just me.
